Job Summary

The General Manager of Food and Beverage is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations at Lumen Field. This individual will work closely with the Director of Clubs & Bars to ensure exceptional guest experiences, safety, and financial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus, product offerings, and pricing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Ensure all concession areas are properly displayed and merchandised to meet show quality standards.
  • Execute security, safety, and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and secure environment.
  • Provide operational planning to ensure adequate staffing and inventory levels for each concession event.
  • Follow and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Hold team members accountable for delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and Levy team members.
  • Regularly solicit feedback from clients and guests to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Respond to and resolve any departmental guest service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execute all menus, promotions, and programs as outlined by the Director of Clubs & Bars in accordance with Levy standards.
  • Achieve daily sales and assigned cost goals, as well as assigned budget goals.
  • Follow and enforce responsible alcohol service policies to ensure a safe and responsible environment.
  • Verify all opening and closing inventories to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
  • Execute required daily reporting in a timely manner to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing.
  • Ensure team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook.
  • Forecast and schedule team members to meet operational needs and desired targets.
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are being performed to maintain accuracy and security.
  • Ensure assigned areas are fully stocked and ready for operation.
  • Conduct regular meetings to maintain open communication and ensure team members are informed and engaged.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop team members according to Levy guidelines.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail.
  • High degree of computer literacy, including Microsoft and Google programs.
  • Ability to craft elevated menus and drive sales growth.
  • Intensive liquor inventory control experience.
  • Understanding of financial concepts, including food, beverage, and labor costs.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead large groups, including other managers on the floor.
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management.
  • Quick service restaurant management experience.
