As a Client Services Associate at NPM, you will engage with some of the most prominent private companies, institutions, and individuals to assist in their secondary transactions. Your role will involve managing the flow of substantial financial transactions while collaborating directly with investors. You will gain invaluable experience in handling multiple projects concurrently. Your insights into client feedback will be crucial in enhancing our technology and service offerings across the Nasdaq organization. Although you will serve as the primary contact for these clients, you will have the support of a knowledgeable team dedicated to providing personal training and ongoing education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the transaction process from initiation to completion for late-stage, venture-backed private companies, including block trades for investors and shareholders.
  • Build and nurture client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Manage and sustain marketplace operations for banking partners and their clientele.
  • Guide clients on best practices for executing transactions through our online platform.
  • Monitor and regulate cash flow, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Process legal and compliance documentation for internal teams and external clients.
  • Assist in generating various sales management reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments (including Sales, Technology, and Legal) to enhance client experience and identify new opportunities.
  • Utilize Nasdaq Private Market's collaborative environment and resources to set and achieve your professional objectives.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

> Bachelor’s degree required.

> Up to 2 years of experience in roles such as corporate paralegal, financial operations associate, equities broker, stock administrator, or equity compensation analyst; or a similar position in finance, consulting, or technology with a customer-facing focus.

Preferred Skills:

> Ability to communicate effectively with high-level clients.

> Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

> Capable of coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

> Proficient in analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.

> Positive attitude and adaptable mindset when facing new challenges and unexpected deadlines.

> Enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and incorporating feedback to contribute to team success.

> Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional transactional services.

> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

> Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

> Experience with DocuSign and Salesforce is a plus, but not mandatory.
