About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Teller/Customer Service Representative to join our team at First Bank of Montana. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, while also performing various banking and financial services tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teller Functions:
    • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks.
    • Operate bank software to complete transactions and maintain accurate records.
    • Verify endorsements, validity, and fund availability for checks.
    • Balance cash at the end of each workday and maintain established cash levels.
    • Follow all branch, division, and corporate policies and procedures.
  • New Account/Customer Service Functions:
    • Assist customers with opening new deposit accounts and services.
    • Provide information and support to customers regarding bank products and services.
    • Open and maintain existing accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, safe deposit boxes, debit cards, and online banking.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Banking and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
