Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Certified Medical Assistant at Specialty Medical Center. The Certified Medical Assistant will undertake a variety of essential daily responsibilities, including assisting in medical procedures, utilizing medical terminology, overseeing office operations, delivering patient care, and accurately maintaining medical documentation.

  • Proficient in preparing patients for consultations and documenting detailed notes.
  • Assist the specialty provider in ensuring all necessary documentation is ready for a seamless check-in experience.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Dr. Chrono, for scheduling appointments, processing prescriptions, ordering MRIs, and reviewing patient charts.
  • Willingness to accompany the provider between multiple locations.
  • Capable of completing patient notes in the EMR system and flagging relevant information.
  • Understanding of medical terminology is essential.
  • Ability to perform blood draws and administer injections.
  • Effective time management skills and excellent communication between provider and patient are crucial.

Required Qualifications

  • Skills in Medical Assisting and familiarity with Medical Terminology
  • Experience in Medical Office operations and Patient Care
  • Competence in managing and maintaining Medical Records
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of fundamental medical principles and practices
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is mandatory
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment
