The University of Texas at Austin is a leading institution of higher education, and we are seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of clinical support staff within designated ambulatory care units.

Job Description

You will work closely with nurse managers and other healthcare professionals to provide training, mentoring, and coaching as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the daily activities of clinical support staff.
  • Develop and implement effective staffing schedules.
  • Act as the first escalation point of contact for patient and other clinical matters.
  • Maintain supply inventory within clinical units.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience.
  • BLS certification required.
