Patient Experience Liaison

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Experience Representative to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients and families receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Support unit operations by delivering positive and effective customer service to patients, families, and visitors.
- Collaborate with Referring Providers: Work with referring providers and practices to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Manage Schedules and Authorizations: Obtain required authorizations and compile patient and staff schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate Patient Flow: Monitor daily schedules and coordinate patient flow with clinicians and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Reconcile Payments and Prepare Deposits: Reconcile payments and prepare deposits, providing accurate records of transactions in Hospital systems.
- Facilitate Communication: Facilitate and direct communication with Financial Counseling and other departments as needed.
- Provide Administrative Support: Provide routine clerical support, including administrative support for Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers.
- Update Patient Records: Reconcile patient charts during admissions and discharges, and update the Patient Monitoring System upon admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Education: High school level of education, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
