Position Overview

Systems Solutions of Paducah, LLC is a leading provider of Information Technology Managed Services. We are currently seeking a qualified IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role offers flexibility with options for both onsite and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to clients, both remotely and onsite.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to resolve technical issues.
  • Implement and support business-class hardware and software solutions.
  • Utilize a ticketing system to manage and prioritize support requests.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for client interactions and support activities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely updates on support tickets.
  • Stay current with industry skills and certifications to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT help desk or desktop support role, or equivalent educational background.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Microsoft platforms, including Office 365 and Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of fundamental networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with the installation and maintenance of peripherals like printers and scanners.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve standard hardware issues.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices, including virus protection and firewall management.
  • Basic knowledge of Apple and Mac OS troubleshooting is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn and support various business applications.
  • Possession of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience is desirable.

Compensation: $20-30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
