Position Purpose:
The Regional Sales Director is a seasoned sales leader who drives new business and manages a team of experienced sales professionals. They will oversee sales executives who sell Stericycle's regulated waste solutions, addressing sustainability, compliance, and efficiency in the Non-Acute space.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing sales teams with multi-million dollar quotas and driving new business development. They will cover the Northeast region, including VA, MD, District of Columbia, Eastern PA, NJ, NY, MA, RI, and CT.
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and management of the regional sales team to achieve annual sales objectives. They will direct and manage sales productivity and profitability to achieve designated profit objectives within their geographical responsibility.
The Regional Sales Director will interface with customers, providing relationship management support related to sales and service matters. They will partner closely with other Commercial functions to develop appropriate compensation, pricing, and marketing strategies for hospital sales.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and ten or more years of sales experience, including five to seven years of sales management experience or corporate account management experience.
