Fitch Technology is actively looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Lead to join our team.

This role is focused on enhancing the quality assurance methodologies for our Fitch Ratings workflow applications. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the core processes that support the Fitch Ratings analytical community. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Acting as the test lead within an agile team, mentoring and guiding a group of QA engineers
  • Developing and contributing to advanced automation frameworks that are efficient, adaptable, and reusable using Selenium Java or Python
  • Integrating test execution and reporting into the CI/CD pipeline to align with DevOps strategies, criteria, requirements, and user stories
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and users, to establish and refine testing strategies while ensuring the integrity of interconnected systems
  • Encouraging the team to design and build with testability in mind
  • Implementing BDD practices and frameworks to enhance test automation
Essential Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in automation testing (Selenium) and converting requirements into test cases
  • 5+ years of experience integrating automated testing with DevOps tools (Bamboo, Jenkins) and working within Scrum-based Agile teams
  • 5+ years of experience in visual/UI testing and API testing
  • 2+ years of experience testing event-driven services, message queues, and event brokers (Kafka)
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, K6, Neoload, LoadRunner)
  • Extensive knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and database testing with SQL
  • Strong understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) and CI/CD processes
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a complex, dynamic team environment with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with UFT
  • Familiarity with SonarQube and shift-left testing principles
  • Proficiency in Python for testing and familiarity with Python frameworks (Pandas, Numpy, Requests, Boto3)
  • Experience in testing container resilience (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Skilled in writing SQL/NoSQL queries for data validation
  • Experience in incorporating performance validation into CI pipelines
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes)

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: The expected base pay salary range for this role is $138,000 - $144,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits.
