Your Responsibilities:
- Act as the test lead within an agile team, guiding and mentoring a group of QA engineers
- Integrate test case execution and reporting into the CI/CD pipeline to align with DevOps strategies, requirements, and user stories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and users, to develop and refine testing strategies while ensuring the integrity of interconnected systems
- Review requirements and specifications to establish test conditions.
- Design test cases and scripts that map back to predetermined criteria, documenting and reporting outcomes.
- Provide estimates for testing activities and tasks.

Prepare comprehensive Test Strategies, develop Test Plans, create Detailed Test Cases, write Test Scripts based on Business Requirements, and formulate Test Scenarios to guarantee quality deliverables.

- Conduct backend (database) testing using advanced SQL queries in Oracle.
- Develop regression suites utilizing Python automation frameworks and perform necessary regression and integration testing.
- Work closely with team members and users to gather workflow and API details for building automated scripts.
- Analyze test results, log defects in JIRA, and collaborate with project team members on issue resolution and re-testing.
- Document, maintain, track, and report test status using tools such as ALM, JIRA, and qTest.
- Design and implement automated test suites for a diverse range of applications.
- Ensure the integration of automation testing within the DevOps lifecycle.
- Implement BDD practices and frameworks to enhance test automation.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- At least 6 years of experience in ETL Processes and Data Warehouse Testing.

Extensive hands-on experience with ORACLE database technologies, including complex ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL scripting for data validation and backend Data Warehouse testing.

- Proficiency in ETL Processes (Data Warehouse Testing) and BI testing (QlikView, Cognos, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with No-SQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
- Experience in testing Master Data Management systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing using Python frameworks (Pandas, Numpy, Requests, Boto3).
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, and GraphQL.
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation of APIs, web services, and Microservices.
- Proficient in defect tracking and Quality Assurance tools such as ALM and JIRA; experience with qTest is a plus.
- Strong technical skills coupled with effective time management abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Comprehensive understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kafka data streams, Big Data, Postgres DB, and Data Lake.
- Familiarity with Amazon AWS services (Athena, S3, Glue, Starburst, etc.).
- Experience with UI automation tools like Selenium and load testing tools like JMeter.
- Skilled in writing SQL/NoSQL queries for data verification.
- Exposure to the financial industry domain and data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes).
