Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner to join our team at the Department of the Treasury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, auditing, and examining bank and financial institution internal capital markets risk management policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure the stability and soundness of banks and financial institutions.
  • Conduct thorough examinations and audits to identify and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with other regulatory agencies and industry experts to develop and implement new policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to banks and financial institutions on risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for improving risk management practices.
Requirements
  • 1 year of specialized experience in bank supervision, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess complex risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
