We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Polygraph Examiner to join our team at Targeted Solutions, LLC.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in conducting Law Enforcement Pre-Employment Test (LEPET) polygraph examinations in compliance with federal standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct NCCA-approved LEPET polygraph examinations in accordance with federal guidelines.
  • Ensure all examinations comply with policies, procedures, and the NCCA Federal Polygraph Examiner Handbook.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity at all times.
  • Adhere to NCCA continuing education requirements and complete mandated countermeasures courses.
  • Efficiently use software programs supporting email, word processing, and data entry for security programs.
  • Make yourself available for required training and certifications, observing and performing polygraph exams under supervision when necessary.
  • Stay up to date with the latest practices in polygraph examination as outlined by the NCCA Polygraph Program Manual.

Qualifications:

  • Current Federally Certified Polygraph Examiner: Must have completed the Federal Polygraph Examiner Basic Course at the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) or its predecessors (Defense Academy for Credibility Assessment (DACA) or Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DoDPI)). Proof of certification is required.
  • Experience: Conducting NCCA-approved LEPET polygraph examinations for a recognized federal program. Must provide proof of employment and experience in advance.
  • Integrity: Must not have been dismissed, relieved of duties, or have any findings that indicate questionable integrity (e.g., "Giglio" concerns). Must provide proof of current federal certification and documented completion continuing education credits (80 hours every 2 years).
  • Countermeasures Training: Must provide proof of completing NCCA-mandated countermeasures courses and CE credits.
  • Proficiency in Standards and Practices: Must be familiar with the standards outlined in the NCCA Federal Polygraph Examiner Handbook.
  • Professionalism: Must carry themselves professionally, maintain a neat appearance, and foster a positive workplace environment.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in using software programs supporting email, word processing, and data entry.
