KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Manager for our Blood Bank (Transfusion Services) in Berryville, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Blood Bank operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage a team of laboratory professionals, including a Technical Coordinator, Laboratory Assistants, and Medical Laboratory Technicians.
  • Participate in committees such as Blood Utilization Review and Massive Transfusion Protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Blood Bank Manager and Laboratory Director to drive departmental success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • ASCP or equivalent board certification required; Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Blood Bank experience required; 8 years preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Blood Bank Supervisor required; 4 years preferred.
  • 1 year of laboratory experience in high complexity testing for immunohematology required.
  • Experience in a high-volume hospital clinical laboratory setting preferred; experience in a blood bank reference lab desired.
Compensation:
  • Salary range: $50.48 per hour.
  • Relocation fee: $10,000 - $15,000.
