Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administrative, sales, and clerical support to Mortgage Loan Officers and Mortgage Sales Managers, handling complex issues and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Set up and maintain mortgage loan files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate communication between realtors, title agents, and customers regarding settlement, commitment letters, and loan approval.
  • Gather necessary documentation to assist Mortgage Loan Officers or Mortgage Sales Managers in underwriting and credit review of borrowers.
  • Assist in gathering and preparing loan submissions, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Enter and close referrals in the Fulton Financial Corporation connect system, maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage marketing programs and tools, such as Loan Officer Toolbox, to enhance business relationships.
  • Assist in maintaining Loan Officer calendars for client meetings, sales calls, and bank meetings.
  • Coordinate with the Fulton Mortgage Company marketing coordinator to fulfill Loan Officer marketing needs.
  • Assist with data entry into Fulton Mortgage Company's loan origination system.
  • Act as a liaison between parties to ensure clear and constant communication, frequently communicating directly with customers.
  • Obtain information and documentation from customers to complete mortgage applications and cost estimates.
  • Work with customers to structure residential mortgage loans, presenting various loan programs and benefits.
  • Review underwriting guidelines, structure loans, and submit to the automatic underwriting system, restructuring loans to meet guidelines and obtain approval.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and attend settlements.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent. Specialty: Does not apply at this level of education. (Required)

Experience

2 or more years of mortgage banking experience. (Required)

1 or more years of administrative experience, including Microsoft Office. (Required)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Each employee of the Organization, regardless of position, is accountable for reading, understanding, and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job-related Compliance Programs, regulations, and policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all Compliance Training assignments are completed by established due dates.

Pay Transparency

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible to participate in a commission plan.
