About the Opportunity

The University of Cincinnati's Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering invites applications for multiple full-time tenure-track faculty positions in the Mechanical Engineering Program. We seek a diverse pool of candidates with expertise in four broad areas: Mechanics, Vibrations and Acoustics, Manufacturing, and Energy.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate and undergraduate engineering courses in their specialty areas.
  • Develop externally funded research programs in their specialty areas.
  • Advise graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Conduct research in their specialty areas and publish research results in professional journals.
  • Participate in professional service activities, such as editorial/peer review, student career mentoring, and outreach activities.
  • Participate in curriculum and course development.
Requirements
  • A PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
