About the Position

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a highly qualified Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering to join our esteemed faculty. As a leading research university, we are committed to excellence in education, research, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in electrical and computer engineering courses, including undergraduate and graduate-level classes.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program in electrical and computer engineering, with a focus on securing external funding and publishing research results in top-tier journals and conferences.
  • Contribute to the department's educational and mentoring mission by advising students, participating in curriculum development, and serving on departmental and college committees.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance research missions within the department and college, and to further the strategic goals of the University.
  • Participate in service-related activities, including departmental and college committee memberships, and contribute to the advancement of the department's and college's research and educational missions.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong research and teaching background in electrical and computer engineering.
  • Ability to secure external funding and publish research results in top-tier journals and conferences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
