About the Position

The University of Cincinnati's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a full-time tenured or tenure-track position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The successful candidate will have a strong research background and a commitment to teaching and mentoring students.

Research Areas

The department is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the following areas:

  • Semiconductor manufacturing, devices, and circuits
  • Communication theory and systems
  • Cybersecurity
  • Operating Systems and Computer Networks
  • Artificial Intelligence
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in their area of expertise
  • Develop an externally funded research program
  • Participate in service-related activities, such as departmental and college committee memberships
  • Advising graduate and undergraduate students
  • Contributing to the advancement of research missions within the department and college
Requirements

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
