Job Title: Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team at Quirch Foods. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and implement sales activities to meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Retain and acquire new customers while ensuring sales and marketing activities are carried out within agreed budgets and time scales.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to issues that slow down or hamper export procedures and activities.
  • Monitor distributor performance and provide relevant information to management.
  • Negotiate with other companies to assist in business growth and development.
  • Conduct market research, surveys, and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies.
  • Propose and negotiate sales, pricing, and terms with assigned accounts and new customers.
  • Analyze product purchasing options, including identifying best market pricing and supplier options.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Develop close working relationships with key decision makers at target accounts.
  • Responsible for all sales results at assigned and targeted accounts.
  • Responsible for all A/R collections in each assigned account.
  • Responsible for pricing and margin management within assigned accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Financial and business analytical skills.
  • Computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AS 400.
  • Category and product knowledge.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Pricing skills.
