Interventional Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT, and Ultrasound equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol.
- Assist physicians and RNs throughout the care of patients.
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures.
- Order and maintain inventory for daily function.
- Verify patient information and procedure accuracy.
- Review patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality standards.
- Complete quality control procedures and perform notification/remediation as warranted.
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
