Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team at Ochsner Health System. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
- Utilize radiology information systems to facilitate patient care
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding
- Operate imaging equipment to complete procedures according to protocol
- Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality standards are met
- Complete quality control procedures and notify/remediate as necessary
- Assist in departmental operations, including inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance, and more
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography
