Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Interventional Radiology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Utilize radiology information systems to facilitate patient care and optimize imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
- Operate imaging equipment to complete procedures according to protocol and maintain high-quality images.
- Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality standards are met and provide feedback for improvement.
- Participate in quality control procedures and contribute to a culture of excellence and patient safety.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the Louisiana State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography.
