Job Summary:

The Cable Systems Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Broadband CATV and Internet services and equipment. This includes installing, troubleshooting, and making necessary repairs to subscriber equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs subscriber equipment and services
• Maintains and repairs Broadband CATV and Internet services and equipment
• Works independently to complete assignments and tasks in a timely manner
• Analyzes and troubleshoots complex cable equipment and infrastructure

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Certification in cable systems operation, maintenance, and repair
• 3+ years of experience working with Amplifiers, Line Extenders, and other passive devices associated with a cable system
• 3+ years of experience in all phases of distribution system maintenance, including splicing and repairs
• 3+ years of experience in plant operations and troubleshooting
• 3+ years of experience in subscriber trouble call resolution

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or requested
• Must be willing to participate in continued education opportunities as required or as necessary
• Must be willing to attend progressive job-related training as requested
