Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a culture of safety and employee well-being by following established Standard Operating Procedures and Environmental Health and Safety Rules.
- Receive and verify materials received by vendors, customers, or other warehouses, ensuring accurate quantities and descriptions.
- Organize and maintain incoming orders on shelves, reporting any freight damage claims.
- Prepare and process branch orders, ensuring accurate shipments and customer satisfaction.
- Process paperwork related to shipments, including verification, labeling, and insurance.
- Operate machinery, including forklifts, reach trucks, and wire cutting machines, as required.
- Load common carriers and company vehicles.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and inspect inventory for discrepancies.
- Make deliveries to branches and customers as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Certification to operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurance requirements for deliveries.
Salary:
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
