Position Summary

In the role of Technical Training Consultant, you will collaborate with technical specialists from various divisions to exchange innovative ideas and methodologies for creating and delivering training materials across a broad spectrum of SAS software.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and apply knowledge in programming, report generation, analytical methods, SAS technologies, and associated open-source and third-party software.
- Provide training to clients and partners, which may be conducted in-person or through virtual platforms.
- Create educational resources for e-learning, classroom sessions, and mentoring initiatives.
- Document technical content and software demonstrations for internal or external dissemination.
- Collaborate with specialists across various SAS divisions to tailor training solutions that address specific business challenges and technological requirements.
- Offer direct support to clients utilizing enterprise-level analytical software applications and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, etc.
- Understanding of computer science principles, particularly in areas like cloud computing, application development, database management, data visualization, or web technologies.
- Willingness to travel for training sessions at SAS offices and client locations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing, analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal capabilities to engage with users of varying technical expertise.
- Experience in public speaking, such as presenting research or teaching.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- You are inquisitive, passionate, genuine, and responsible—qualities that shape our organizational culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience from projects or internships that showcase individual and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in programming with the SAS language.
