Job Summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our clients' products by conducting thorough assessments and providing expert technical advice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product safety, with experience in reviewing and preparing technical reports, technical files, and certificates. You will also be responsible for preparing test plans, conducting tests, and providing technical advice to clients.

  • Assess products designed to national, regional, and international standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, technical files, and certificates.
  • Prepare test plans and conduct tests correctly and safely.
  • Occasionally conduct tests in Eurofins labs or at customer sites.
  • Provide technical advice to clients.
  • Occasionally travel domestically or internationally.
  • Prepare quotations in partnership with the sales team.

Qualifications

Experience with ordinary locations standards, including UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60950-1, 62368-1, 61010-1, 60355-1, 60745-1, and 62841.

  • Demonstrated product safety experience from an NRTL, test lab, or manufacturer.
  • An engineering-associated educational background.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
