Customer Service Representative

h3Job Description/h3pFusion Transport is a leading provider of customized supply chain solutions, with over 40 years of industry experience. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient operations and outstanding service for our customers./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliProcess freight work orders, schedule loads, and handle customer requests to enhance overall satisfaction./liliEnsure accurate and timely loading of shipments onto carriers' vehicles and greet and assist carrier drivers during pickups./liliCommunicate clearly with drivers to facilitate a seamless pickup process and address any shipping inquiries./liliGenerate bills of lading and related paperwork for work orders, perform data entry tasks related to shipping and inventory, and maintain organized filing systems for all shipping documents./liliCheck orders for special requests, post accurate inventory records, and assist in conducting physical and cycle counts./liliReconcile inventories to book records and adjust as necessary to ensure data accuracy./liliManage special and last-minute shipping requests, coordinate and schedule shipping activities to optimize efficiency, and collaborate effectively with other staff members to achieve common goals./liliEnsure proper invoicing of account activity and resolve any discrepancies related to customer inventory./liliWork with spreadsheets to record and track shipment details, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data entered in the system./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is required./lili1+ year Customer Service experience in warehousing or similar type industries./liliWeekend availability as needed./liliProficient with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word./liliExcellent organization, time management, scheduling, and attention to detail skills./liliAbility to work in fast-paced, demanding environments./liliWillingness to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals./liliClear verbal and written communication skills./li/ulpWhat We Offer:/pulliMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance/liliLife Insurance/liliPaid holidays/liliPaid time off (PTO)/lili401(k)/liliCareer growth opportunities/liliCollaborative & committed team environment/li/ulpFusion Transport is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates./p
