Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Compensation: $40/hr on W2
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday - 9 hours, Friday - 4 hours (7:00 AM to 4:30 PM M-TH, 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM F)
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract.
Note: US Citizenship is mandatory.
- Develops manufacturing workflows, protocols, and production layouts for assembly lines, equipment setup, processing, machining, and material logistics.
- Creates optimal machine arrangements within production facilities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Designs operational sequences and specifies procedures for tool and equipment fabrication, influencing product performance.
- Modifies machine or equipment designs to align with factory and production conditions.
- May integrate inspection and testing requirements into the manufacturing strategy.
- Evaluates machinery, equipment, and tool performance to confirm efficiency, addressing and resolving issues to maintain product quality.
- Establishes manufacturing processes suitable for statistical process control and may develop related methodologies.
- Advises engineering teams on design concepts and specification needs to effectively utilize equipment and manufacturing practices.
- Ensures adherence to regulations in processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates initiative and independence in project management.
- Understanding of Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing is preferred.
