About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team at Robinson Engineering, Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transportation projects, from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop transportation projects, including roadways, utilities, and drainage systems
- Lead and manage technical design teams, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Collaborate with municipal clients, utility districts, and state agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Develop and implement traffic analysis and traffic signal design plans
- Review and approve design plans, ensuring they meet company standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation engineering
- Active PE license in the state of Illinois
- Experience designing roadways for municipalities, counties, and IDOT
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word and Excel
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
