Job Summary

The Director of Sales and Marketing for Aimbridge Hospitality will oversee the planning and execution of sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy at a full-service hotel. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing annual budgets, marketing plans, and sales forecasts to meet or exceed hotel profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate group, transient, association, and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and recommend annual budgets and marketing plans to ensure hotel meets or exceeds revenue and profit goals.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, sales tours, and entertain clients to build relationships and drive revenue.
  • Monitor production of top accounts and evaluate trends in the market to inform sales strategies.
  • Train hotel staff on sales opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Manage Human Resources in the division, including hiring, training, and performance reviews.
  • Supervise Catering and Event Management Team to ensure budget goals are met.
  • Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Full-service hotel sales and marketing experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic vision to establish sales deployment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and general computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse groups and solve complex problems.
