JOB TITLE : Healthcare Materials Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
Overseeing the inventory, tools, and all supplies necessary for the efficient functioning of the surgical facility. Ensuring the accuracy of records related to the procurement, receipt, and payment processing of all requisitions and purchase orders. Managing automated systems that facilitate the materials management processes. Coordinating physical stock counts and completing required reporting on a bi-annual basis. Identifying cost-saving opportunities, coordinating product assessments, maintaining savings documentation, conducting cost analyses, and collaborating closely with medical professionals during product evaluations. Supervising all activities to guarantee the availability of essential surgical instruments.REQUIREMENTS :
A minimum of three years' experience as a scrub technician in a surgical environment is preferred. Proficient in all aspects of materials management, including the ability to assist in the formulation and management of departmental budgets. Experience as a buyer in medical supply management or as a senior buyer is preferred. Strong organizational capabilities are essential.Benefits:
