Job Opportunity

Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our stores and contributing to our mission of helping others and serving our local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct team members to achieve store goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote merchandise
  • Operate the point-of-sale cash register system and manage cash handling
  • Perform stock duties, including merchandise rotation and display work
  • Record inventory and maintain a clean and neat store environment

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year of experience in retail sales, including cashiering, customer service, and inventory duties
  • Ability to lead and direct team members
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and ability to operate a register
  • Physical ability to lift over 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
