Job Description

The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join the Bureau of Environmental Compliance. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in enforcing environmental laws and regulations that impact public and environmental health.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong background in policy, urban planning, sustainability, public administration, or politics. A master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The DEP is committed to providing a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment based on any legally protected status or characteristic. The selected candidate will work closely with senior staff, attend team meetings, and deliver high-quality work products to support the Bureau's portfolio.

  • Enforce environmental laws and regulations affecting public and environmental health.
