Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced CSCA certified social compliance auditor to join our team in the United States. As a key member of our team, you will conduct environmental and social supply chain audits, support impact-driven responsible sourcing programs, and uncover potential risks associated with social compliance issues.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake thorough social compliance assessments based on our assessment procedures and client expectations.
  • Deliver high-quality reports according to our protocols and timelines.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of local labor laws and our social compliance assessment procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal team members for training, coordination, and administrative needs.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve tasks during on-site assessments and reporting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies regarding integrity and confidentiality of information.
  • Adhere to strict standards for schedule leakage, consultant behavior, and bribery attempts.
  • Other assignments as needed.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A 4-year college degree in Law, HR, Occupational Health and Safety, or Environment (Advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social compliance auditing.
  • 100+ verifiable social compliance audit days.
  • APSCA registration is required.
  • CSCA certification is mandatory.
  • A valid US Driver's License.
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Spanish language skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet research/reporting/analysis tools.
  • A global perspective, cultural sensitivity, and awareness.
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
  • Comfortable with confrontation and diplomatic demeanor.
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • SA8000 Auditor Certification, RBA, BSCI Certification, or equivalent (a plus).
  • Knowledge of international and local labor standards and human rights issues (preferred).

What We Offer
