Job Title: Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Banks Power. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through direct sales to end users, serving as the first point of contact for sales and addressing customer inquiries before, during, and after the sale.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming calls, voicemails, emails, or texts from prospective buyers and provide same-day responses to all customer inquiries.
  • Explore new opportunities to generate more sales, including making a minimum of 30 follow-up calls daily to existing customers.
  • Develop and retain a good understanding of how performance engines operate.
  • Assist walk-in customers, schedule install customers, or refer customers to authorized dealers as needed.
  • Enter customer information, vehicle type, and requests for literature into our CRM system and maintain accurate customer records throughout the sales cycle.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Attend occasional local trade shows.
  • Other duties assigned by the Sales Manager.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience selling in the automotive aftermarket performance, wheels, tires, suspension, or a related field with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to effectively handle high call volume.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of gasoline, diesel trucks, and motor homes.
  • Understanding of performance engines and non-OEM engine use (racing, marine, vehicle conversion, etc).
Compensation:
  • Base pay ($24-27/hour) + SPIFF opportunity.

Actual pay offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
