The School of Education Leadership, Health & Humanities at Southern Oregon University (SOU) is seeking candidates for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Philosophy.
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable Assistant Professor of Philosophy with a broad expertise in philosophical disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing a variety of undergraduate courses, contributing to the development of the department's curriculum, and engaging in active research. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, a commitment to scholarly work, and the ability to mentor students across a wide range of philosophical topics. Teaching responsibilities may include online courses. The successful candidate will be expected to 1) either take or share responsibilities of organizing the annual Campus Theme Program, 2) teach in the Honors College, and 3) engage in collaborative teaching and related projects.

Minimum Qualifications
