Senior Land GIS Mapping Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Land GIS Mapping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out complex mapping workflows on 7,000 tracts in the Permian Basin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end Texas Legal description mapping tasks with high accuracy.
  • Work with Quorum Land Management systems QGIS add-in for ArcGIS Pro 2.8 to manage land GIS data.
  • Decipher correct legal descriptions from source deeds and create accurate maps.
  • Utilize native ArcGIS Pro editing tools in conjunction with Quorum QGIS built-in mapping widgets.
  • Prioritize projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in land GIS mapping.
  • Strong understanding of land agreements and familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Quorum QLS/QGIS software and ArcGIS Pro.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
