We are seeking a highly skilled Geotech GIS Specialist to join our team in Houston.

Job Description

A career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Geotech GIS Specialist to work with our clients in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FME, ArcGIS Pro, and Python programming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing GIS solutions using FME and ArcGIS Pro.
  • Collaborating with geologists and geo-physicists to support their data needs.
  • Providing expert advice on spatial data management and analysis.
  • Maintaining and updating GIS databases and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field (e.g., geography, geology, computer science) and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in GIS and geotechnology.
  • Expertise in FME, ArcGIS Pro, and Python programming.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
