Role Overview: The Senior Global Vehicle Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support machinery. This role involves preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, modifications, and thorough documentation of all work performed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute timely and efficient maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records through repair orders and parts requisitions using FedEx's computer systems.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to a team of technicians and trainees.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required. Vocational training from an accredited automotive school is preferred. ASE Master certification is also preferred.

Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of four (4) years of advanced technical repair and maintenance experience in fleet, automotive, or truck vehicles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in the operation and use of all relevant equipment and testing tools associated with the repair of hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and hybrid vehicles.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:
- Must possess a basic set of automotive hand tools, including metric sizes.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and manage heavier weights with assistance regularly.
- Capable of working independently for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.
- Willingness to work various shifts is essential.
- A valid driver's license in the state of residence is required, along with meeting qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. A medical examination is mandatory.
