Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pre-Owned Vehicle Technician to join our Sonic Automotive team. The Pre-Owned Vehicle Technician will be responsible for executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards. This role also includes supervising any apprentice technicians assigned to the technician.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Pre-Owned Vehicle Technician, with familiarity in Lexus and multi-brand vehicles; a Smog License is advantageous.
- A strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
- ASE certification or equivalent training, with a willingness to participate in ongoing training.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Manual dexterity and sound judgment.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review repair orders from the service dispatcher.
- Perform repairs as outlined in the repair order efficiently and accurately.
- Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and execute necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with the parts department to procure required components.
- Document all work performed and maintain a clean work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
