As the Senior Analyst, Global Indirect Procurement, you will be an integral part of the Global Strategic Sourcing team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager. This role is suitable for candidates who are flexible in their work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in achieving the annual savings objectives set for the Global Strategic Sourcing team.
- Oversee indirect expenditures and implement strategic initiatives to meet both personal and team goals.
- Keep project and savings documentation current within the project management system.
- Supplier Management: Aim to maintain or reduce the number of suppliers in the region.
- Collaborate with the Global Category Senior Manager to formulate strategies for Professional Services, HR, and Travel expenditures.
- Cost Analysis: Examine spending trends and market dynamics to uncover potential savings.
- Data Analysis: Collect, assess, and interpret data from various sources.
- Track and report on essential performance indicators (KPIs) and savings outcomes.
- Develop insights and identify inquiries based on your analysis.
- Connect disparate data points and findings effectively.
- Proactively share any anomalies or significant data insights.
- Challenge research briefs to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the final outputs.
- Tailor reporting formats to suit specific audiences.
- Clearly articulate and comprehend reporting results, demonstrating curiosity in the data.
- Create concise executive summaries that highlight the implications of the findings.
- Conduct procurement activities based on organizational needs, including market analysis, benchmarking, sourcing events, negotiations, and ongoing supplier management.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among teams to meet procurement project objectives.
- Oversee project timelines and maintain ongoing communication with internal stakeholders.
- Utilize sourcing tools to:
- Provide savings reports and updates to leadership.
- Evaluate personal and team projects within the project management tool.
- Incorporate E-auction and RFX technologies into the sourcing process.
- 3-5 years of experience in indirect category sourcing across various expenditure categories such as HR, Professional Services, Travel, IT, Marketing, and Logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with E-auction processes.
- Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound business judgment with the ability to foresee the implications of decisions.
- Capacity to act as a change agent, demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.
- Experience in business process improvement or strategic project work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A strong team player who considers diverse perspectives to achieve category goals.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
