We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Ballast Hospitality. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation - Prepare high-quality meals to exact specifications, ensuring exceptional presentation, portion control, and food quality.
- Culinary Leadership - Assist the Sous Chef with recipe management, ordering, and running service in a fast-paced environment.
- Sanitation and Safety - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Culinary Experience - Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably in high-volume restaurants.
- Kitchen Skills - Strong knife handling skills, knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, and ability to work under pressure.
- Career Advancement - Ability to learn quickly, take constructive criticism, and demonstrate leadership and initiative.
