Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a transit bus and transport passengers in a timely manner.
  • Welcome passengers, process fare payments, and ensure a secure environment.
  • Accurately report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to guarantee a safe and pleasant journey for all passengers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended durations.
  • Capable of driving in various traffic and weather conditions.
  • Lift, push, pull, and carry equipment or objects above shoulder height without assistance.
  • Navigate stairs with ease.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing with the capability to obtain a CDL permit.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Consistent punctuality and strong attendance record.
