Position Summary:

The Landscape Design Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing design initiatives, ensuring adherence to financial, quality, and timeline goals, while consistently meeting or surpassing client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed phases of landscape architectural design for projects of moderate complexity, collaborating with various engineering and architectural disciplines.
  • Develop site designs and produce working drawings along with relevant project documentation.
  • Draft project specifications, analyzing and compiling necessary data.
  • Perform site and construction inspections for data collection, preparing interpretive reports for management review.
  • Gather information for proposal development.
  • Engage independently with other disciplines.
  • Coordinate, draft, and verify specifications.
  • Manage time effectively across project tasks.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Plan projects and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to maintain the integrity of the overall design solution.
  • Contribute to the evolution of ideas and propose alternative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
  • Review and ensure quality assurance of project outputs (drawings, reports, specifications) to meet or exceed client expectations and comply with industry standards.
  • Foster effective working relationships with project managers and clients, ensuring clear communication regarding progress, changes, and issue resolution.
  • Continuously enhance understanding of services provided by IBI Group and client operations to facilitate personal and professional growth.
  • Monitor team performance, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
  • University Degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • 4-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Licensure in Massachusetts is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong technical knowledge of building construction.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong experience in 2D CAD and Revit.
  • Experience in developing construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with mixed-use and hospitality projects is advantageous.
  • Capability to present effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Work samples are required for evaluation.
