Position Overview

Hashim Sarkis Studios is in search of a Senior Architectural Project Leader with 6-10 years of professional experience.

This role involves overseeing architectural projects from initial concept through to construction completion, requiring a seasoned architect to manage diverse teams effectively.

To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, with a preference for more
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with clients, consultants, and fellow architects
  • Proven ability to manage project finances, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiations
  • Strong client relationship management skills to lead and collaborate with varied design teams
  • Capability to support technical design and documentation across projects of varying sizes and complexities
  • Responsibility for project correspondence, reports, documentation, and administrative tasks
  • Understanding of office standards and the ability to enhance team workflows
  • Commitment to high standards in design and technical aspects of projects

Additional qualifications include:

  • Experience across all project phases, particularly in Construction Documents and Contract Administration
  • Experience in managing consultant work
  • Experience supervising junior staff members
  • Aesthetic sensibility in graphic design
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and open work environment
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Architectural license, passive house accreditation, and/or LEED accreditation are advantageous
  • Proficiency in Revit is a plus
  • Fluency in Arabic is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel for international projects
