Position Summary:

The successful candidate will oversee landscape design projects, ensuring adherence to financial, quality, and timeline goals while consistently meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed phases of landscape architectural design for projects of moderate complexity, collaborating with various engineering and architectural disciplines.
  • Create site designs and prepare comprehensive working drawings and project documentation.
  • Develop project specifications by compiling and analyzing relevant data.
  • Perform site and construction inspections to gather information, preparing interpretive reports for management review.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals by compiling necessary information.
  • Engage independently with other disciplines to ensure project coherence.
  • Draft, review, and verify specifications.
  • Manage project tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to maintain the integrity of the overall design.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and alternative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
  • Review and ensure quality assurance of project outputs, including drawings, reports, and specifications, to meet client and company standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with project managers and clients regarding progress and issue resolution.
  • Continuously develop an understanding of IBI Group's services and client businesses to enhance personal performance and career growth.
  • Monitor team performance, identifying and resolving any challenges that arise.
Qualifications:
  • A University Degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • 4-8 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
  • Licensure in Massachusetts is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously is necessary.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building construction and a thorough understanding of construction documentation are required.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with 2D CAD and Revit is crucial.
  • Familiarity with mixed-use and hospitality projects is preferred.
  • Capability to present effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Work samples will be requested for review.
