About the Role

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a leading healthcare institution, is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Oncology Data Services Department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a comprehensive cancer database and ensuring the accuracy of oncology data.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cancer registry program and database, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify patients who meet criteria for inclusion into the oncology database, utilizing your analytical skills to ensure accuracy.
  • Complete patient care evaluation studies and other assigned projects, demonstrating your ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Participate on assigned committees as requested, contributing your expertise to drive business decisions.
  • Publish requested reports as required, showcasing your ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
