Strategic Partnership Manager

At JR Motorsports, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Partnerships to lead and advance partnership efforts across our portfolio. This role is responsible for creating strategic partner activation plans, leading select partner account activity, and supporting the broader team in project coordination, performance measurement, and overall implementation of timelines and applicable budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic partnership activation plans to deliver on partner objectives.
- Lead the day-to-day management of select partner accounts under the supervision of the Head of Partnerships.
- Collaborate with the broader team to create custom decks and pitch activation programs to partners.
- Consume performance data across multiple channels to create insights that inform future activation strategies.
- Lead a team of partnership managers responsible for implementing activation programs and ensuring deliverables and plans are executed as aligned.
- Support business development initiatives, including creative thought strategy to pitch informed activation concepts.
- Foster strong, collaborative working relationships with partners to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
- May take on special projects and roles to assist the team where needed.
- Maintain knowledge of the broader sponsorship landscape, trends, and activation tactics.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- 6+ years' experience in sports or entertainment marketing with a focus on partnership management and activation.
- Demonstrated strategic and creative thinker.
- Proven track record of creating and executing strategic activation plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop informed, concise, and effective materials for partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to lead and think creatively.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, fostering positive communication and relationships with internal and external parties.
- Carry out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Flexibility and ability to react calmly under stressful circumstances.
- Previous agency experience and knowledge of the NASCAR/motorsports industry is valued.
- Ability to travel to some race weekends and be comfortable with extended days/nights, especially during periods of partnership activation.
