  • Formulate and oversee a comprehensive 3-year strategic plan aimed at driving product and category expansion while achieving profitability benchmarks through innovative and effective product management.
  • Oversee product performance by diligently tracking and assessing sales figures, market share dynamics, and competitive landscape, leveraging consumer insights and product knowledge.
  • Establish and manage profit and loss objectives across various categories and distribution channels.
  • Guide the new product development (NPD) process and manage imports from headquarters, from initial concept to market launch, including pricing strategies, market positioning, regulatory compliance, and packaging design.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain Management, Operations, and Research & Development, to ensure the necessary infrastructure supports the product development lifecycle and overall category strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth product analyses and propose new offerings and features to enhance the product pipeline and align with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, including enhancements and SKU optimization.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies for new products, ensuring effective communication with target consumers.
  • Lead marketing initiatives such as packaging design, advertising campaigns, digital marketing, and social media outreach in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Assist in the management of external partners and vendors as necessary (e.g., advertising, public relations, market research firms).
  • Identify necessary consumer research and data, conduct market research, and monitor industry trends to stay informed on category advancements.
  • Develop and manage marketing and sales materials, including sell sheets and brochures.
  • Prepare the annual marketing budget and ensure all marketing activities are executed within financial constraints.
[Required Qualifications]
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for food is essential.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in brand or product innovation marketing, specifically within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector, preferably in the food industry.
- At least 8 years of experience in B2C or B2B environments with foundational P&L understanding.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in IRI, Nielsen, and Spins.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean is preferred.
