The Executive Director is the chief decision-maker for the community, overseeing a dedicated team of department heads. This role is crucial in shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the well-being and health of all residents in the community.
• Oversee the coordination of care and services, ensuring the highest standards of nursing and care staff management.
• Uphold and promote the organization’s core values, ensuring they are reflected in all community interactions.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels with qualified personnel in all departments.
• Recognize and reward top performers while providing guidance for team development.
• Manage all necessary documentation required by regulatory bodies.
• Engage in direct marketing efforts to promote community services and attract potential residents and staff.
• Serve as the primary contact during formal inspections and audits.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must meet all current Licensed Assisted Living requirements in relevant states.
• A minimum of two years of post-secondary education is required; a college degree is preferred.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in senior housing is essential.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• A warm, approachable, and compassionate demeanor is vital.
• Proven integrity, maturity, and leadership capabilities are required.
• A comprehensive understanding of State Department of Social Services Standards and Regulations for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities is essential.
