About the Role

Moriss Media & Its Affiliates is seeking a seasoned Chief Marketing Officer to spearhead our company's marketing operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping our marketing strategy, defining our brand's vision, and leading a team of marketing professionals to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay attuned to market trends and guide our market research initiatives to inform data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a unified approach to customer service, distribution, and other business functions that align with market demands.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our company's overarching goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a practical marketing plan for the department, ensuring seamless execution and daily operations.
  • Organize and manage marketing functions and operations, including product development, branding, communications, and more, while ensuring they reflect our company's distinct brand voice.
  • Conceptualize and coordinate promotional campaigns, public relations, and other marketing endeavors across diverse channels, both digital and non-digital.
  • Cultivate an efficient and high-performing team of marketing professionals.
  • Establish a robust network of strategic partnerships to support marketing efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a relevant field.
  • Master's degree considered a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Chief Marketing Officer or in a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrable expertise in crafting effective strategies and business plans for all marketing dimensions, encompassing branding, product promotion, and more.
  • Sound comprehension of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Proficiency in implementing marketing techniques across digital and non-digital channels.
  • Familiarity with diverse business disciplines, such as IT and finance.
  • Proficient in MS Office and business software, including CRM systems.
  • A visionary leader possessing both creative and analytical aptitudes.
  • Excellent communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities that facilitate collaboration and teamwork.
Work Environment

Moriss Media & Its Affiliates operates in a hybrid mode, allowing employees to work from home or remotely. This role requires a laptop/desktop with upgraded configurations, high-speed internet connection, and excellent oral and written communication skills. The position also demands strong management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a patient, career-oriented, and diplomatic approach.
